SUSTEXMODA EACH-USP 2020 . ODS
in the Textile Chain and Fashion Industry
Debates around the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, regularly referred to as the “Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs”, have become increasingly common in our society. Many programs and initiatives are being implemented, but they fall short of expectations, and many times are treated unevenly . Governments, companies, academia and society need to be aligned on new production and consumption models to address the issues that permeate the 17 SDGs. One of the sectors that has attracted the attention of researchers for its great social, environmental and economic impact is the Textile Sector and the Fashion Industry. The II SUSTEXMODA aims to discuss alternatives and innovations seeking to mitigate these impacts in ways that do not compromise the needs of future generations.
